The partnership with Nature Invest aims to accelerate change and strengthen small initiatives within the Atlantic Forest Great Reserve by offering a simple platform to raise funds for projects on 16 themes aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Projects can be related to environmental education, adventure tourism, protection against forest fires, and management plans, among others. All of them are based on the concept of "Nature Production", which promotes opportunities for territorial development.The Atlantic Forest Great Reserve is a voluntary initiative that brings together various actors - public, private, non-governmental, and academic - who together promote regional development actions focused on nature tourism within the largest remnant of Atlantic Forest in the world, with around 3 million hectares of conserved natural environments, located between the states of São Paulo, Paraná, and Santa Catarina. This area is considered an important natural, cultural, and historical heritage site, and the initiative aims to promote this rich territory as a nationally and internationally recognized nature tourism destination.We are sure that the cooperation between the Atlantic Forest Great Reserve and Nature Invest will stimulate engagement and transparent investment in small-scale actions to bring about the much-desired changes in the region.
