Eco Quintal Brincante - Escolinha da Mata is a place for urban children of all ages to immerse themselves in nature and have immediate one-to-one contact with nature. Just 1.5 hours from São Paulo, we arrive in an area with preserved fauna, springs and mineral waterfalls. With a team of nature experts (permaculturists, botanists, bird experts, pancake experts and environmental educators), we have an immersion in nature, talking about fauna and flora, and a naturalized backyard.
For urban children, it's an opportunity to get unstuck, to get to know in order to preserve!
The project proposes one-day immersions for children of all ages, to experience and get to know a piece of Atlantic forest that, although very close to the metropolitan region of Sao Paulo, is still home to top-of-the-chain animals, streams, waterfalls and abundant springs. Contact with nature and the unplugging of childhood has many cognitive and sensory benefits, and many studies have shown that it is more important to create people who know, respect and want to preserve nature.
The project can serve public and private schools, groups and people who want to live in nature for a day.
The main activities will be immersions with experts, the creation of a naturalized park (a children's and adult's park that uses elements from nature: bamboo, fallen logs, stones, etc.). The funds will pay for a consultancy for the quintais brincantes movement and the implementation of the naturalized park.
