The Amazon Environmental Research Institute (IPAM) is a scientific, non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization that, since 1995, has worked for the sustainable development of the Amazon. Our purpose is to consolidate, by 2035, the tropical development model for the Amazon and the Cerrado through the production of knowledge, the implementation of local initiatives, and influence over public policies, in order to impact economic development, social equality, and the preservation of the environment. Our mission is to promote science, education, and innovation for an environmentally healthy, economically prosperous, and socially fair Amazon and Cerrado.

Why we ride?
TransCerrado is more than a bike expedition.
It is an awareness ride to tell the stories of the Cerrado and the people who protect it. At a time when another severe El Niño could intensify droughts and wildfires, raising awareness has never been more urgent. And it is also a scientific expedition. During the trip, the researchers will collect information to advance Cerrado conservation science.
Along the way we will:
This August, we'll ride 300 km across the Brazilian Cerrado (from Posse em Goiás to Taguatinga em Tocantins. Not for a race, but for a cause
Your contribution will help us fund communications related to the expedition.
Every euro helps transform a bicycle journey into a powerful voice for one of the planet's most threatened ecosystems
Together, let's ride for biodiversity, water, climate—and the future of the Cerrado.Thank you for your support and follow us on https://www.instagram.com/bike_transcerrado/reels/
