Campaign to raise money to buy trap cameras to monitor fauna and combat hunting for the Juréia-Itatins Feline Project in the Atlantic Forest of Peruibe/SP. Conservation of our fauna.
Acquisition of trap cameras for surveying and monitoring fauna and inhibiting illegal hunting.
Initially, this work was carried out thanks to the help of CENAP/ICMBio and special thanks to researcher Dr. Lilian, who lent us the cameras to record the animals, including puma, ocelot, wildcat, jaguarundi, tapir, deer, capybara, tamandua, peccary, peccary, muriqui, otter and caiman. Great biodiversity in a region that has been little researched and is difficult to access.
Now, we need to continue our project and for that we need to buy at least 12 new cameras.
Some of our cameras have been stolen and others are unusable after a long period of use. We also need to buy memory cards and AA batteries to use them. Everything is expensive!
Purchase of cameras to monitor the Serra do Itatins and surrounding areas.
